In Hera Pheri, the trio received a large hefty sum as a reward for saving the daughter of a rich businessman during a kidnapping incident.

So what did these characters do with all this money? Did they live happily ever after or did they become greedy for more? This is where Phir Hera Pheri comes in. . .

Raju is the one who comes up with the idea of increasing their wealth in a short space of time.
But for Raju's plan to work, they need to invest more money on top of what they already have.

Whilst Shyam and Baburao are completely ignorant when it comes to financial matters, Raju, as always comes up with a solution.

He manages to convince two potential investors with his plan!

One of them being Rajpal Yadav who seems to be in trouble already - he himself has borrowed money from a dangerous gangster who is out for the kill if he does not pay up.

So, in their quest for more money and wealth, Baburao, Raju and Shyam find themselves being part of one more exciting adventure. They have taken the risk and now they have to run to save themselves.

This hilarious comedy also stars Rimmi Sen and Bipasha Basu as the leading ladies.

Writer, Neeraj Vora, who wrote the dialogue and screenplay of Hera Pheri takes over the direction from Priyadarshan for this sequel.
