When Rani's family notices this, they do all they can to stop this relationship going any further, much to Ashish's dismay. To add to his troubles, he learns that his friend, Rohit (Aftab Shivdasani) is infatuated by Rani. The twist comes when Ashish visits his GP and misunderstands the doctor's diagnosis of hypertension as cancer. Ashish's is shocked and heartbroken at this news. Thinking that he is going to die soon, he decides to do the right thing for Rani. He puts a plan into action which will make Rani hate him so that she will not suffer the ordeal of his death. A heart-broken Rani goes for an arranged marriage and as luck would have it, her family chooses Rohit. But fate soon intervenes as Ashish realises that he does not suffer from cancer at all. So will he be able to stop Rani and Rohit's wedding in time and explain what he had done? Directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Subhash Ghai, Shaadi Se Pehle is a laugh riot all the way.
