Ishwar owns a toy company. Being of a generous nature, he donates toys to orphans every Diwali season. His dutiful wife Sumita (Shefali Shah) accompanies him. So on the outside everyone thinks Ishwar lives a perfect life. But this is not the case. Aditya is in love with Mitali (Priyanka Chopra), the daughter of Nathu (Boman Irani). But when they get married, Ishwar expects his son to become more responsible. But that does not happen. So with time, friction arises between father and son. This escalates to a point where Aditya is thrown out of the house due to his irresponsible nature. Shocked by his father's drastic move, Aditya decides to do all he can to prove his worth in his father's eyes. He gets a day job as a stunt man so that he can provide a home to his wife who by now is expecting their first child. In his spare time he prepares for a star search contest. Working hard, Aditya soon sees the fruits of his labour - he gets selected for the finals in the contest. | Priyanka & Akshay |
