Not very ambitious, Nikhil is happy with his small world consisting of a group of friends with whom he regularly plays football. He also has Neha , his girlfriend who means the world to him. Life for Nikhil is pure bliss until changes start to happen. Neha decides to go to the big city of Mumbai where she can achieve her life's ambitions - find herself a good job and make plenty of money. Unable to separate from his girlfriend, Nikhil listens to his heart and follows Neha to Mumbai. He even finds a place to stay and a job which would pay the rent. Totally heartbroken, Nikhil seeks comfort from his perky workmate, Sara (Soha Ali Khan). As time goes by, he feels he has found his Neha. What's more, he even thinks his neighbour Shagun (Ayesha Takia) would make a perfect partner. Soon, another quirk of fate decides who the ideal girl for Nikhil is...and just when he thought it was the perfect setting for love, his romantic roof caves in, burying him in a rubble of hilarious situations. So who is finally destined for Nikhil? Is it Neha, Sara or Shagun? Answers to these questions come from Dil Maange More, a romance with a mischievous twist featuring stars of the new generation. Shahid Kapoor of the Fida fame plays Nikhil the lover boy in this romantic comedy. Dil Maange More also serves as the debut vehicle for Soha Ali Khan, daughter of veteran actress Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan's younger sister.
