Plan is a comedy thriller revolving around four strangers on a train bound for Mumbai city. They begin to share their experiences but little do they know that a much bigger plan unfolds as the train reaches its destination. All four, become friends with ambitions. Bobby (Dino Morea) dreams of becoming a film star. Omi (Rohit Roy) is on the trail of man who robbed his father. Jai (Bikram Saluja) aims to reunite with his girlfriend whilst Lucky (Sanjay Suri) wants to make millions through gambling. Their plans get underway with a great start. All four begin to have the time of their lives until they run out of money. Knowing that Lucky will never loose, all of them decide to gamble their remaining cash using Lucky as their good luck charm. But Lucky looses! This puts them into a sticky situation. If they did not pay their debtor, they risk loosing their lives. So in a bid to recover their debts, all four decide on kidnapping a rich businessman whom they had seen in a discothèque. But their plan goes haywire. The captive turns out to be Musabhai (Sanjay Dutt), head of the underworld.
So, the harder they try to come of this mess, the deeper they get dragged into it. Eventually, Musabhai finds that his own gang were trying to get rid of him. So in actual fact, these four boys have saved his life. Musabhai also learns that his best friend, Sultan (Mahesh Manjrekar), is now his worst enemy. So with the help of the boys, Musabhai manages to get his own back on Sultan. In return for their services, Musabhai pays their debts and all ends well. But is this the end? Musa and his close associate, Rani already has a plan for these four young characters. Lets hope they are ready for it! The film, although dominated by male actors also include Priyanka Chopra (of the The Hero and Andaaz fame), Sameera Reddy, Riya Sen and Payal Rohatgi as the leading ladies. Hriday Shetty makes his directorial debut in Plan after assisting Sanjay Gupta with films including Jung, Aatish and Khauff. Plan was launched at the IIFA Awards at Sun City, South Africa in April this year. Its now slated for a December release in UK cinemas. Previewed by Manish Gajjar, BBC Shropshire's Mr Bollywood.
