Ashutosh Gowarikar’a recent release, Whats Your Rashee did not fare well at the UK box office. But the director with past box office hits like Lagaan, Swades and Jodhaa Akbar remains undeterred by his recent defeat.

He has already started work on his next film project titled Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se. The storyline is based on Manini Chatterjee’s novel, Do and Die: The Chittagong Uprising: 1930-34.

Still in its scripting stages, Gowarikar has already approached Abhishek Bachchan to play the male lead in this movie based on a serious genre.

The female lead is yet to be decided although Asin who is soon to appear in Vipul Shah's mega release, London Dreams, is a strong contender for the role. More updates to follow soon.
