Mr. Yash Chopra will be felicitated at the Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) this year and presented the Asian Filmmaker of the Year Award. Yash Raj Films will make their presence felt at the 14th PIFF with the screening of four of their films in the ‘A Special Program in Focus: Retrospective on Yash Chopra’ section. These include Lamhe, Dhoom 2, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and New York. PIFF is the largest film festival in Asia, opening on 8th October 2009 for 9 days. Held annually in Busan (also Pusan), South Korea, it is one of the most significant film festivals in the East and has helped Asian Cinema grow successfully over the last 13 years. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism / Metropolitan City of Busan, the PIFF attracts over 200,000 visitors and has over 10,000 participating guests from 55 countries.
