If Vishal Bharadwaj, Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra aren't enough to make you watch Kaminey, here’s another reason: Amol Gupte, writer of the smash hit, Taare Zameen Par, will be making a comeback as an actor. He made his debut in the film Holi in 1984. Rumour has it that Amol is playing the role of Priyanka's brother, Sunil ‘Chopper’ Bhope, a gangster who aspires to become a politician. Amol remains tightlipped about his part, saying: 'I can’t really talk about the film. As for my character, I have been asked not to disclose anything at present.' As for working with Kaminey’s star cast and critically-acclaimed director, Amol says, 'It was like a picnic from day one! I really enjoyed working with Vishal and the entire cast of Kaminey. When you have a team that’s so talented, work just becomes an utmost pleasure.' Kaminey stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead who has gone through a series of strenuous gym sessions to achieve a toned and chiseled body. He plays a double role in the movie about two brothers who achieve the same ambitions by taking different paths in their lives. News feed by Manish Gajjar |
