Shooting for Karan Johar’s new film venture My Name Is Khan is well underway in America. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol play the lead in this movie. A crucial scene was recently shot in one of the studios belonging to CBS 5 New Channel. But the scene did not involve the lead pair which came as a big disappointment for fans waiting outside to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars. Johar even had a chance to shoot some scenes on the White House premises which is a first for Bollywood. The film is a moving story of a Muslim youngster growing up in Mumbai. But he has a medical problem - he suffers from Asperger syndrome (a form of autism). His life takes a turn for the worse when he is suspected as a terrorist after the 9/11 attacks. His disability is taken as 'suspicious behaviour'. He eventually meets a therapist who helps him through his traumatic ordeal. Karan is already planning a wide UK release for this film in 2010 which no doubt will be the biggest blockbuster at the box office. News feed by Manish Gajjar |
