Planning a wide UK release for his next directorial venture, Karan Johar was recently seen marketing his movie, My Name Is Khan at the Cannes Film Festival. Although the shooting schedule for the film is 50% complete, Johar was seen selling the international rights to buyers present at the festival. A show reel on the film was also shown to lucrative customers at the festival. My Name is Khan stars the magic pair, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in lead roles. Johar also showcased director Rensil D’Silva’s Jihad starring Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. The film is currently in post-production with an eminent release date end of 2009.
