A meeting between Mumbai producers / distributors and multiplexes was held this week to discuss the film terms and conditions issues.

Although not much is known, the meeting was said to have ended on a positive note. Both parties reached an amicable agreement on certain issues arising from the current strike situation.

A further meeting is being held first week of May which is expected to end the ongoing strike action that has prevented the release of Bollywood films recently.

A backlog of films are waiting for a release date which means that Bollywood fans will be spoiled for choice with 2/3 releases expected each week in UK cinemas.
