Rensil D’Silva begins filming for Jihad

Karan Johar's new production, directed by Rensil D’Silva began it's New York shooting.

Director Rensil D’Silva of the Rang De Basanti fame, has already started shooting for his new film venture.

Titled, Jihad, the film stars Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. They are ably supported by Kirron Kher, Om Puri and Minissha Lamba.

Produced by Karan Johar, the subject of global terrorism forms the backdrop for this romantic thriller. The story for the movie has been written by Karan Johar whilst the screenplay is the work of director Rensil.

According to the latest buzz, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are said to play terrorists who eventually fall in love.

Jihad’s month long shooting schedule is currently underway in New York where Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are filming a large portion of this feature.

But before Kareena flew to America, she completed dubbing for her other film projects Kambakkht Isqh and Milenge Milenge.
