Richard Gere is one of the Hollywood stars to appear in Bollywood film, Teen Patti.

The mega success of Slumdog Millionaire has certainly bridged the gap between Hollywood and Bollywood industries these days.

Action comedy, Kambakkht Ishq releasing in August will see Hollywood stars Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh in cameo roles.

Meanwhile, Teen Patti’s Oxford shooting schedule in February saw Bond star Pierce Brosnan making a cameo appearance.

But only this week, news of Richard Gere working alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Teen Patti’s last shooting schedule has come to light.

Teen Patti revolves around a University professor (Amitabh Bachchan) who trains five of his brightest students in high stake gambling with a cause.

So it looks like 2009 will see greater collaboration between these two major film industries.
