Mani Ratnam’s Ravana, inspired from the Hindu epic, Ramayana, has recently completed a long shooting schedule in Kolkata. Lead stars Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are the main focal point of the film.

The movie revolves around Ravana (Abhishek) who has a grudge against Sita’s (Aishwarya) husband, a character played by Vikram. So he kidnaps Sita and goes into hiding in a nearby forest.

As days go by, a mutual attraction develops between the kidnapper and his victim. The movie also stars Govinda as Hanuman and Nikhil Dwivedi as Laxman.
