Renowned filmmaker, Vidhu Vinod Chopra will make his directorial debut in Hollywood with his new project titled, Broken Horses.

Chopra is said to have selected Mickey Rourke of the Wrestler fame to play the lead role in his film. Broken Horses is a gangster film whose story has been written by Chopra. The actual script has been written by Abhijat Joshi of the Lage Raho Munnabhai and Eklavya fame.

Mark Johnson (Chronicles of Narnia, The Notebook and Rain Man fame) is the producer of the film. Broken Horses will be filmed in New Mexico and New York.
