The House of Commons recently honoured Irrfan Khan for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. He received the award from Khalid Mahmood, Labour MP from Birmingham Perry Barr. The versatile actor was in London along with Shah Rukh Khan to promote their film Billu Barber already screening in UK cinemas. Irrfan who plays a police officer in Slumdog Millionaire was reported to be pleased with the worldwide appreciation of the film.
