It is believed that children have the strongest connection to God. They have the ability to perceive goodness in everything and everyone they come across.

Bhoothnath is a story about a mischievous seven year old boy and his deceased stubborn and hot tempered old grandfather.

Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla play the character of a couple who move to Goa with their son Banku. But when they take up residence in their new home, Banku befriends a nasty ghost called Bhoothnath who is none other than his grandfather.

But through Banku’s innocence, honesty, and love, an obstinate Bhoothnath becomes his close friend and confident. Eventually he is ready to help anyone in trouble.

Vivek Sharma makes his directorial debut in this Ravi Chopra production.

Young contestants of a recent television reality show, Aamir Hafiz from Bhopal and Tanmay Chaturvedi from Lucknow are the playback singers in Bhoothnath.

Music director Vishal – Shekhar have composed the musical score for this film, said to be a children and adults delight.

Nikki Bedi from BBC Asian Network had the rare pleasure of talking to the legendary mega star Amitabh Bachchan this week prior to the release of Bhoothnath in UK cinemas.
