BBC Radio Shropshire's Marie Crichton is celebrating after being named Favourite Presenter at the UK Country Radio Awards on 3 February 2008.

This is the second consecutive year Marie has been voted top presenter by country music fans. At a huge gala event in Surrey, Marie drew the plaudits in a hall packed with UK country music's best artists, presenters and promoters.

A huge fan of Country and Western music, Marie lists Reba McEntire, Lorrie Morgan and Tanya Tucker as a few of her favourite artists, alongside harmony groups like the Judds and Sweethearts of the Rodeo.
