The Volunteer Award

Please use this form to nominate someone for a Make a Difference Volunteer Award.

This is awarded to an individual who makes a notable difference to the community by giving their time voluntarily to help others.

Nomination tips:

• Write how you speak and speak from the heart. We want to know what makes this person or group special to you.
• First round judging will be based on your 250 words only, so make each word matter and use as much of your word count as possible.
• Judges won’t click on any weblinks, so please do not include them.

You must be aged 18 or over to nominate someone for an award, if the person you're nominating is under 18, we ask for their parent/guardian details.

Nominations can be made until 5pm on Tuesday 31 March 2026. All nominations will be reviewed and finalists will be asked to take part in an awards ceremony and/or broadcast opportunities later in the year.
