Making the unmissable, unmissable! Malcolm was still annoyed with Liz for reading out his poem and she sought refuge with Shirley and Viv, admitting she has a soft spot for him. They advised she write her own poem but that completely backfired! He got even more annoyed that she'd talked to folk about him! Liz could only apologise so often so she offered to move out. Luckily, that was enough to stop Malcolm in his tracks - he said sorry and the pair appeared to get a little closer... who knows what would've happened if they hadn't been interrupted!
Ewan had a go at Zoe about Rory, while Ruth told Nicki her sister is evil! Rory played the hero, shouted at Ruth and punched Ewan, but it was clear things weren't all that rosy for him and his girlfriend. He couldn't perform when they went to bed together.
Lenny showed some support by getting their flat ready for them that prompted a family toast to Zoe and Rory. However, Lenny was secretly plotting to get rid of her. He told Rory he would stand by him and was proud of him, but he offered Zoe £10,000 to get out of town. He's even willing to continue to fund her through Uni! She put up a fight but it looked like he was being his usual persuasive self.
Ruth started to feel the pressure of being on her own but refused all offers of help from Gina. When she started to have contractions, she called Scott but the pair ended up fighting and she threw him out the flat. He had no idea she was already in labour...
Scarlett came up with a money-spinning plan and made (burned) some rolls'n'sausage to sell in the bar. Eileen HATED the idea. Scarlett doesn't do what she's told though so when she got it into her head to have a lock-in, she went straight ahead. Pretty much the whole of Shieldinch decided to enjoy the opportunity to have late night tipples.
Eileen was furious but she was vastly outnumbered. Even Shona, pining for Raymond, reckoned it was a good idea. She made the most of it and drowned her sorrows. Scott joined her, having convinced himself he'd ruined things with Manu over the whole Ruth/Zoe debacle. Happily, Manu returned and the pair made up!
Shirley broke up the party when she heard noises at Ruth's flat and came to look for help. Scott rushed to save the day but he, Manu and Shirley were horrified to discover a very dazed Ruth, lying on the floor alone. And what Shirley saw beside her led to a swift call for an ambulance...
