Nicki
Nicki told Zoe some home truths.
1 of 4
  • Nicki
  • Scott
  • Malcolm and Liz
  • Sharon and Raymond

Shirley made Nicki talk to Zoe but the teenager was disgusted to hear Zoe insinuate she'd turned to prostitution for HER benefit. Things didn't get any better when Nicki appeared to be on Ruth's side in the debacle. Zoe tried to push Rory away, too, but he was determined to help her and convinced Nicki that her sister needs her. Ewan and Mary, meanwhile, were doing their best to put Zoe down.

After drowning her sorrows, she faced some home truths from Nicki - she has to stop lying and treat herself with some respect. She still tried to push Rory away but he managed to talk her round. Lenny, however, was underwhelmed to find her at the family dinner table. Ewan's nasty remarks got too much for Rory and he dragged her away. Zoe worried that Rory wouldn't be able to cope with all the jibes if they stay together.

Heather's patience wore thin as Jo continued to take liberties in her flat so she tried to convince Ruth she needed her sister back. Ruth saw through her and just snapped at her. She's fine on her own! Jo invited Ewan round for dinner and, despite the fact he turned up really late AND hit on Heather, she still let him worm his way in.

Scott was delighted when Ruth left a baby scan photo for him but she told him firmly that's all he's getting! He was gutted! She then grabbed an opportunity to have a go at Zoe but Rory put her in her place.

Jimmy was bored and felt quite useless, especially when Scarlett inadvertently pointed out he's not making any money. As desperate as he was, Lenny's offer of a job didn't go down well.

Liz found a lovely poem Malcolm had written but he was embarrassed about it. She obviously hoped it was about her but he explained it was for his late wife, Rose. Undeterred, Liz took it upon herself to read out the poem at the writers' group, refusing to identify the author. Malcolm was furious with her for revealing his private thoughts!

Carly told Raymond that she reckons Sharon's been short-changing customers and, thanks to Eileen's persistence, he was forced to admit the takings were a little out. However, before he got the chance to speak to Sharon about it, she told him her brother had died. Eileen quickly jumped to the conclusion that she was lying, and Shona wasn't far behind her. Raymond reluctantly voiced his confusion and Sharon went running, in floods of tears. She disappeared and, eventually, Raymond started to pack up her stuff.

Shona provided a shoulder to cry on and the pair looked like they were getting awfully close again... Eileen accidentally got in their way and it was just as well. She'd discovered Sharon's brother really did die. Raymond was furious and decided to find his grieving girlfriend. As he was leaving, he handed over the Tall Ship keys to Scarlett and Jimmy! They'll be running the pub in his absence!
