Lydia was hating Mary's presence in Shieldinch but Lenny did his best to reassure her that Mary means nothing. He decided to do something to prove how much his boys mean to him so he, typically, put his hand in his pocket.

He bought Ewan a fancy convertible, and gave the Montego Heights penthouse flat to Rory and Zoe. Ewan was over the moon (much to his mum's disgust but he assured her it's all an act to forge closeness to his dad) but Rory was pretty shocked. It forced him and Zoe to consider their future.

Mary took an instant dislike to Zoe then stirred up trouble by telling an unsuspecting Nicki of Zoe and Rory's plans to co-habit. Nicki angrily confronted her sister and forced them to make a decision. They decided to go for it! Yay! And they're going to take Nicki with them! Double yay! They'd better enjoy all that happiness while it lasts...

Eileen and Raymond went to war with stupid rules about who could and couldn't go into their areas of the Tall Ship. Sharon LOVED it and took advantage by starting selling toasties at the bar.

Eileen soon managed to stop that and the fighting got dirty. After a lot of to'ing and fro'ing, Eileen came up with a brilliant plan and recruited Shona as her new chef. THAT went down like a lead balloon.

Scott was wandering about like a lost soul, gutted by Manu's actions, who was now refusing to answer his calls. Ruth pretended to sympathise while mocking his feelings. Then she told Zoe that she'd had a chat with Manu but was shocked by Zoe's horrified reaction. How dare she interfere?!

Ruth bleated to Scott that Zoe had been horrible to her but it wasn't long before Zoe and Scott got talking. Scott was raging to discover what Ruth had been up to, and Zoe was none too pleased to have been slagged off.

Scott went mad at Ruth and walked out on her. She was distraught... but was soon planning her revenge. She was sick of everyone fussing about the Montego Heights launch night but deliberately stopped Scott finding his laptop until the very last minute. That's the laptop containing the presentation. Doh!

Everyone turned up to the launch as planned and Ewan was delighted. Lenny began his big sell but, halfway through the presentation, Ruth stepped up to the microphone and took over.

She'd replaced some of Scott's slides with her own! She revealed to all and sundry the truth about Marty - he'd slept with Zoe and contracted syphilis! And Zoe's a prostitute! Cue: trauma and tears...
