Lydia was impressed by the way Lenny had rescued the ladies from McLaverty but, as he predicted, Graham wasn't far away. He and his thugs pounced on Lenny and Ewan, and Ewan ended up being stabbed in the thigh!

Lenny refused to take his son to hospital, much to Lydia's disgust, and enlisted Zoe's help. Rory wasn't happy his girlfriend was being dragged into the mess but she rose to the occasion and, with Lenny's help, broke into the surgery to get the supplies she needed to treat Ewan. Her bedside manner put a smile on Ewan's face but Rory was jealous when his brother flirted with Zoe.

Lydia hated the fact Lenny's trouble was brought home but was put in her place when he told her McLaverty was the culprit and it had all happened because SHE had got Lenny involved. He told her he could pack her bags if she didn't like her life. She was furious.

Lenny asked Archie to draw up a security contract for Shona. Shona had made sure Lenny's services were above board but Scarlett was annoyed he was involved.

Lydia calmed down when she saw Lenny doing things the right way. Meanwhile, Zoe admitted she's not sure she'll be able to finish her nursing training and Lenny immediately offered to help. He suggested he gives her money every month to fund her education.

Jimmy and Raymond conspired to tell Bob he should move out of his mum's. Bob interrupted a dinner party Scarlett and Jimmy held for Raymond and Sharon but he didn't get any of their hints. Finally, Jimmy got through to Scarlett and she told Bob she's not going to wait on him hand and foot any longer.

Scott told Ruth how miserable he is at work and she helped him call in sick. His boss, Manu, turned up on the doorstep to see how he was and was surprised when Ruth inferred that Scott is the biological father of her baby.

Jamie tried his best to impress Iona. He told her he'd be in the Tall Ship and wanted to plan something special for her upcoming birthday. Iona, however, dragged Deek in and pretended he's her boyfriend. Jamie was devastated to see them kissing.

Gina felt completely in the way at Ruth's and was unhappy at being treated like a skivvy by her daughters. Luckily, Shirley and Viv found the answer - she could move into Billy's flat! Gina was delighted and the solution felt even sweeter when it turned out that Archie had wanted the flat.
