Jamie had another date with Nicki but, as usual, his mind was firmly on the deli. Iona confided in Shona that she was worried about his attentions but the lovestruck teenager soon came up with a plan to allay her fears. He quickly ran about taking pictures of random folk with his phone and showed her them - he's putting together an art project with the pics. Ha, a likely story!
Jimmy was grumpy as he tried to regain strength in his legs. Raymond told him not to push it but he's determined to walk on his wedding day and the clock is ticking! He took out his frustration on Scarlett, who just got annoyed with him until Raymond suggested he's having a hard time. Jimmy did, in fact, push himself too far and fell when he tried to train on his own. Luckily, Scarlett turned up as he was recovering and he admitted what he was up to. She told him she knew but was delighted to see him briefly pull himself up on his feet! She was also cheered to discover her divorce from Paddy had came through so she's a free woman just in time for the wedding.
Ewan and Lenny moved their business into the McGrade & Kydd office but tensions were running high. Ewan insisted he would never hurt his sister but Lenny was still mad about the vodka debacle. Ewan told his dad he just wants to make him proud. At home, Lenny was getting it in the neck from Lydia, who'd made him sleep on the sofa. After another argument, she realised he'd been right - she can't just reap the rewards of his business and ignore the illegal stuff. She felt awful and decided things had to change. The situation didn't look promising but Lenny amazed her when he failed to let Amber wrap him round her little finger. Yay! He's finally backing her up. Amber was not impressed!
Gina prepared to renew her vows but it became clear that hardly any of her family would be there. She was fretting and Archie worried she was having second thoughts so he drafted in an uncomfortable Liz to help encourage her. Ruth, meanwhile, was trying to drum up support elsewhere but Jo was pretty definite she wouldn't sit back and watch her mother making a mistake. Eileen was adamant nobody should go and Malcolm found himself being pulled in different directions. Eventually, he decided not to attend the ceremony and Ruth headed off on her own. Archie, still pretending to be Douglas, said his soppy vows and Gina was ecstatic when they became married again. The Tall Ship, however, wasn't a pleasant place to celebrate as Eileen and Jo stared daggers at the pair. Eileen confronted her sister and was absolutely horrified to discover that 'Douglas' knows the truth about the night he disappeared!
