Liz was horrified to hear that hardly anyone was going to Fi's funeral so decided that she, Gina and Douglas would all attend. Douglas was not impressed. Archie, not Douglas, but you knew that.

Archie had a meeting with his old lawyer Charlie Houston but was gutted to hear he hadn't found Niamh. However, he was pleased to hear Houston was focused on the impending trial, even though he wasn't getting paid. He reckons it's going to be a big case, which will be good for him, and he's sure that if 'Douglas' hangs around he can convince a court of his innocence, especially as Fi and Gerry are out the picture.'Douglas' didn't seem to be his usual, easy-going, amiable self and Liz became suspicious, especially when she spotted him with Houston.

Ewan was unimpressed when he got money from Lydia for his birthday. He reckoned she could have put more thought in, and made a big deal of Amber's present and his mum's gift. Lydia confronted him about his rudeness but he insisted he really does want to fit in with the family. His behaviour wound Rory up, too, and Rory finally had a go at his brother when he thought Ewan was hitting on Zoe. He lost his temper and was not happy when his dad and Zoe seemed to be on Ewan's side. Lydia told him he should give his brother a chance but that made him feel even more alone.

Bob was upset 'cos Charlie wasn't talking to him but, after some advice from Jean, Charlie forgave Bob. The stag do, though, would have to be cancelled! Deek decided this wouldn't do at all so offered him the money he'd spent on Alfie as a gift. Bob was sure that Charlie would be delighted but she wasn't! She told him to give Deek back his money and, again, it was up to Jean to make her see sense. She apologised and they had a joint stag/hen do, which was a bit eventful. Scarlett and Charlie were treated to a very scantily-clad hunk of a stripper, whilst Bob and Jimmy were left chained up outside the pub!

Shona was obviously irked about Sharon and decided to send Iona to spy on her! Seeing Sharon being bossed about by Eileen, though, made Iona sorry for her and soon the pair were bonding. Shona spotted them together and was seriously unimpressed.

As everyone else was drinking and having fun, Archie moped by the bar. The others commented that the old Archie would've hated it so he tried to pretend to be Douglas. It was too much for him, though, so he headed home. Liz was wary as he seemed to be really drunk but when he started to slag off Bob and his family, Liz's mind was made up. It was most definitely Archie. He smugly confirmed her suspicions!
