Douglas decided it was time to find out more about Archie and uncovered his old mobile phone. He explained to Gina and Liz that he just wanted to know everything about his past. Gina was nervous and decided it was time to set a date to renew their marriage vows. So, she did just that and Archie had to pretend to be pleased. He got in touch with his lawyer, Charlie Houston, and broke the news to him: Archie's back. He wants to get out of here and decided that Niamh is the answer so he asked Houston to find her.

Sharon found out that Raymond has not one but two ex-wives within spitting distance, and decided to find out more about Shona. As Carly and Shona prepared for the big opening of Carly's Cafe, Sharon got a copy of their menu and came up with the brilliant idea of selling bar snacks at the Tall Ship. Eileen wasn't impressed but Raymond, unsurprisingly, was in full support of his new woman.

Iona was embarrassed when Jamie continued to hang around her - he even gave her a CD he'd compiled of love songs!

Shirley started to make arrangements for Fi's funeral and almost immediately found herself at war with Fi's son. He was determined to have her buried in Aviemore but Fi had requested a humanist service and to be buried on a plot in Millport, next to her late partner, Helen. Viv couldn't understand why she was getting so het up and did herself no favours by saying so! Shirley couldn't get through to Fi's son until she offered to pay for the service. She was horrified that the man felt so little for his mother and eventually broke down and sobbed in Viv's arms.

Charlie told Bob she wasn't too happy about the stag party plans for Amsterdam but he reassured her he'd behave. Then she started dropping hints about where she wants to go on honeymoon and Bob had to do some detective work - from Charlie's clues, Jean deduced she meant the Cairngorms. However, before Bob could even think about it, he found himself with a more pressing problem: Charlie needs £2000 to pay for her wedding dress and Carly's bridesmaid dress! He frantically started looking for ways to make some money, worrying Scarlett and Deek in the process. When he eventually admitted to Deek he was in trouble, his pal started to write a cheque... until he heard that Bob was trying to win money on the horses! Unfortunately, Bob and Jimmy's horse lost and Deek withdrew his offer to help.

Meanwhile, Charlie had had a very successful dress fitting until she tried to pay! The bank told her Bob had withdrawn cash and she was devastated. Jean broke the news that the money had been spent on Alfie's operation and that was the final straw - Bob had put that mutt before his fiancee! With her mascara dripping down her face, she went to find Bob sitting in the pub with Jimmy. She was so angry she couldn't even speak to him. Bob is in a whole lot of trouble...
