Scott got a call from Manu, the bloke who interviewed him in London, and was delighted to be offered a design job! Ruth was not quite so happy until Scott explained that Manu is starting up in Glasgow and wants him here. Yay! Scott's staying in Glasgow and can help bring up baby. His creative brilliance was clearly in abundance 'cos he also came up with a great idea for Shona to make money for the community centre. He suggested she uses Deekafe to open 'Carly's Cafe'! Both Shona and Carly were ecstatic.

Scarlett told Jimmy in no uncertain terms that Alfie would have to find another home. The poor dog alienated Deek, too, when he slipped on his pee in Interjumble. Oops! Jimmy had to leave Alfie with Bob and Charlie, but Jean assured him she'd take care of him.

Amber wanted to hang around with Nicki and Jamie again but the rekindled friendship didn't last long! Nicki explained how upset Jamie's been about his dad's death, and about his visit to Iona. Amber came up with the brilliant plan of a ouij board, and everyone was astonished when the board spelled out Eddie's presence. However, Amber was just making it up and made matters a whole lot worse. Jamie was furious Nicki had broken his confidence again, and dumped her!

Ewan felt like he was fighting a losing battle, trying to win respect in Lenny's business. One of his dad's old 'associates', Graham, was dismissive of him and recalled his clingy tendencies as a child. Graham also managed to mess up one of Lenny's deals so he was less than popular. When he took the mick out of Ewan at a meeting with potential customers, Ewan sought revenge. He cornered him later, and showed him he'd pulled out a tooth of one of his nasty cronies. He really means business! Graham suddenly came up with the goods so Lenny was well impressed.

Kelly, however, wasn't. Scarlett tried to convince her to stay in Glasgow but her mind's made up - she's going to Peru. Her mum doesn't believe she really loves Michael and couldn't give her blessing but the main thing is she's really going to miss her, and the pair made up. Kelly said tearful goodbyes to her family and friends and, after one last look at Ewan, she went on her way.
