Viv teased Shirley about having a boring life, and shocked her with tales of meeting men on the internet. Everything around Shirley was making her feel old but the thought of a makeover wasn't very appealing. Viv talked Lydia into bringing some clothes round and set about transforming her friend. Shirley felt like a fool but she bravely headed out to the pub and everyone was complimentary. She even met, and got on with, Viv's boring date from the night before! Inspired, Viv decided to go one step further and put Shirley's details on an internet dating site!

Charlie was turning into a real bridezilla with her wedding plans, and Bob was bearing the brunt of it. He suddenly realised he'd forgotten to book the reception venue but, sensibly, didn't tell his fiancee. Jean stepped in and helped him come up with a plan. The venue was fully booked so he thought he was about to be murdered by the wronged bride, but Jean saved the day.

She asked Raymond if the pub was free that night and they told Charlie that the community were planning a street party in their honour! She was overjoyed and immediately saw the attraction (and her ego loved the attention). Not surprisingly, Scarlett was quickly convinced. Bob kindly offered to cancel the original venue (ha ha!) and Charlie accepted a clueless Raymond's offer!

Nicki and Jamie had a tarot reading from Iona, and Jamie realised she might be able to help him contact his dad. Iona wasn't convinced but she eventually agreed to help him out, and tried to make him feel better by telling him Eddie was watching over him. That cheered Jamie up!

Kelly managed to sneak Ewan out the house after spending the night together, but as soon as he's away she's regretting her actions. They argued in the street and she told him it was a mistake - a discussion that both Lenny and Scarlett caught sight of. Lenny warned his son to keep away from Kelly, but Ewan was more interested in talking about business. Why won't he let him in?

Lenny insisted on keeping his son in the dark but Ewan made it clear he knew what was going on. He'd covered for him when he disappeared after Whiteside's arrest but that's not enough of a commitment for Lenny. Eventually, Ewan got straight to the point - he knows his dad's a crook and if he doesn't let him get his hands dirty, Ewan will tell Amber the truth about her precious father. Lenny, for once, was left shaken.

Meanwhile, Kelly was crying her eyes out at home and admitted to Scarlett that she'd cheated on Michael. Scarlett was supportive, and revealed she knew Ewan was the mystery man. Murdoch or not, Scarlett thinks Michael should be taking more of an interest in Kelly, and advised her daughter to do what makes her happy. Kelly got straight on the phone to Michael...
