Lydia got a huge surprise when Lenny returned from his mysterious business trip. She was kind of pleased to see him but wasn't letting him away without an explanation. She's turned a blind eye for years but she's heard too many rumours this time, and demanded the truth. Did he have anything to do with Eddie's death? He tried to avoid the question but swore to her that he didn't. Ooooh, he's such a liar.

Meanwhile, his son was looking for thanks and a little responsibility at work. Lenny's keeping a tight grip on the business reins but Ewan had other interests to occupy him. He focused his attention again on Kelly-Marie but she resisted all of his charms. However, he scored some brownie points when he helped Jimmy work out in Raymond's new gym. He told Jimmy how much it'd help build up his muscles (and managed to show off a few of his own), and offered to help him out in future.

He then decided to walk Kelly home (she had no choice in the matter) and almost immediately broke the rules, when he turned a peck on the cheek into a kiss on the lips. Soon they were snogging but Kelly broke it off and ran home - she can't do this!

Jean was loving living with Bob and Charlie, and fussed over her future son-in-law. Bob was enjoying himself but Charlie had had enough. She told him he had to tell her mum to move out! There was no way he was going to risk messing things up again so he refused. She soon backed him into a corner but he wriggled out of it. She was furious with him but he's just as annoyed with her controlling ways.

Jo & Eileen came up with a plan to get rid of Douglas for good. Jo made up an excuse to get him round to the flat, then drugged him! Ruth and Gina were safely eating in The Grill, a treat courtesy of Eileen, and had no idea what was going on. Eileen, however, was trying to get away to help Jo. By the time she got to the flat, Douglas was very wobbly and Jo was doing her best to keep him here so that he'd miss signing in at the police station.

He collapsed and it was a case of deja vu for Eileen as she tried to move his comatose body, but Gina and Ruth returned in time to catch them! Gina went mad! She managed to wake Douglas and, with Ruth's help, dragged him out the flat to get him to the police station. She left, yelling how much she loved him and nothing Eileen and Jo can do will change that.
