Gina was determined to play it safe after nearly being caught with Douglas but hiding their feelings was getting to Douglas. They arranged to meet in town that afternoon to get some time to themselves but Eileen was nosing about and when Jo turned up looking for a babysitter, Gina had no way out. Jo questioned her mum about her relationship with Douglas but Gina cast her accusation aside as ridiculous. She found herself having to apologise profusely when Douglas came home, believing he'd been stood up in town.

Shirley was excited to hear there was an offer in for the salon and it was too good to refuse. Then another potential buyer arrived and turned Shirley's life around! Viv (a loud, fun, English woman) was disappointed to hear the salon was already sold but she immediately set about helping Shirley out anyway, and encouraged her to head to the pub for a gossip.

The pair got on like a house on fire and, after a good few glasses of wine, were sorry that they wouldn't be working together... until Shirley realised she hadn't actually signed any sale agreement on Moda Vida! And that was it settled - Viv is going to buy out Billy's share and they'll be partners!

Lenny wound Jamie up by asking about Tina being a suspect in Eddie's murder, and became suspicious when he saw Jodie glance at Harry. But it seemed she was glued to Whiteside's side and it was starting to get to Lenny. He made some more calls and was disappointed, again, that her references checked out. He had a word with Whiteside, who tried to wheedle some information out of his mate Paul. Paul was just worried about his mum though.

Meanwhile, Hobbs was determined to get an arrest asap and put pressure on Jodie. They set up hidden cameras in her flat and she prepared for dinner with Whiteside. When Lenny got suspicious, instead of warning his 'mate', he told Lydia they should go to Spain on holiday. Now! She was fed up with this routine and refused to go. As Jodie fed Whiteside a sob story about her ex, he insisted he could help her get rid of him cos "he's done it before".

She kept digging and digging but as Hobbs was holding out for Whiteside to spill the beans she slipped up. Whiteside cottoned on to it and started quietly threatening her. That was enough - Harry, Hobbs and their team burst into the flat and arrested Whiteside. Lenny saw the aftermath, jumped into his henchman's car, and headed straight for the airport!
