Making the unmissable, unmissable! Hobbs decided to get Jamie in for questioning but Harry reckoned it was one step too far. Hobbs reminded him why they're doing this - if they make everyone believe Tina is their main focus then Lenny and Whiteside will relax and they'll be easier to nab. But Harry's cold actions were getting to the Hunter family and Scott had a go at him.
Harry tried to make him see he's doing it to help them but he couldn't say any more. Scott passed that on to Tina, who was distraught that her boy was now being questioned. Paul tried to get Whiteside to do something to help them but he was far too distracted by Jodie to pay much attention.
Jodie saw an opportunity to gain even more trust from Whiteside when he made it clear what he thought about folk who bent the law - sometimes needs must and all that! So she invited him round to hers for dinner again and confided in him - she once hired some folk to rough up an old boyfriend cos he was scaring her. She said she felt really awful about it but Whiteside wasn't at all upset about it.
Rory wasn't happy about his brother's reappearance in town, especially when Ewan appeared to have all the answers. He made Lydia see that she should hire Zoe at Hola, and set about charming Zoe and Kelly-Marie. Lenny was delighted when Ewan announced he's leaving the Marines and wants to move in with his family, AND work with his dad. Ewan is clearly the golden child... but the smile was wiped off his face when Kelly-Marie turned down his advances!
Eileen gave Liam a hard time for being late for work but that was nothing compared to the review his critic had given the Grill. She was livid! However, she was also determined that he'd work out his notice. He flatly refused and left Shieldinch, threatening legal action if she doesn't pay up the rest of his stake within 10 days.
Gina and Douglas were keen to get some time together so Gina co-erced her dad and Liz into going to the pictures together. It nearly didn't happen but when they did go, the kind-of-married couple cuddled up on the sofa. Douglas was worried and told her that he understood if she didn't feel the same way about him but she stopped him. They kissed and then slept together! The pair were on cloud nine but when Eileen realised Gina had lied about being at the cinema, she stormed round to Malcolm's. Quick-thinking Douglas made the situation appear completely innocent but Gina was clearly worried. How long can they keep this a secret?
