Ruth and Scott bickered over the amount of chocolate she was letting Franco have and the argument made them both worry about their arrangement. After some soul searching, Ruth told Scott that she thinks he'll be the perfect dad.

Eileen was left out of a commmittee meeting so decided to pull out all the stops to get her friends back. She told Liam that she'd need him to cook tonight (calling in her fete auction prize) and managed to persuade some of her friends to come for dinner. It would've been grand if she hadn't spend the evening ordering Liam about like a skivvy!

The guests were uncomfortable and made their excuses, while Liam set about doing the dishes. Eileen then flirted with him and he played along right up until the point she tried to kiss him... then he told her she was pathetic! He's had enough - he's leaving the Grill and leaving Shieldinch!

Zoe discovered the salon had been burgled. They hadn't taken much but she was anxious to get the place back in order before Shirley came home from Millport. Oops, too late. Shirley returned and was devastated. She blamed Billy for taking off and leaving her in the lurch so she's going to ask him to buy her out.

Amber went out to meet Nicki, despite being grounded again. Lenny caught her and dragged her home, only to find Jodie in there measuring up! She's going to do up the house and Lydia's happy for her to be in there on her own but Lenny wasn't happy. For a start, he's not seen her references yet.

She was a bit shaken cos he'd been so nice at dinner but most of his anger was directed at Amber. He then bumped into Nicki and Jamie, and reiterated his previous threats - Jamie has to stay away from Amber... or else! Nicki didn't have a clue what was going on but didn't believe Jamie's side of the story. The pair argued and split up.

Jamie skulked home for dinner with Tina, Paul and Scott but their evening was ruined when Harry turned up in very officious mode, wanting to ask Tina some questions down at the station. He went over the tiniest details about her alibi and he didn't look like he was convinced by her claim of being at the cinema. The cinema manager's statement had gone missing so was useless.

Paul called Whiteside to try to get him to intervene but the dodgy DCI saw an opportunity for himself. He got together with Lenny - they can't understand why Harry's taking this lead but they're not complaining cos it diverts attention. Lenny's not resting on his laurels though and threatened Whiteside to stick to his story. Unfortunately for Tina, Harry decided he needed some more time and told her he'd need to keep her there for some time.
