Roisin and Sonny could hardly contain their excitement about moving to their new castle but Shona was far more interested in Sonny's plans to sell Conway Spices. She'd unwittingly pushed the price up, thanks to all her protest publicity, and she was horrified to hear rumours of its potential buyers - a pizza company, amusement arcade etc. Carly and she put their heads together and decided to do something positive - they want to buy it and turn it into something for the community. They asked Sonny to hold off selling but little did they know that he and Roisin were already planning to GIVE Shona the building but knew she wouldn't take it if it was handed to her!

After a run-in with Whiteside, Douglas insisted Rory took him to the house as soon as possible - he needs to know who he is. Unfortunately the visit didn't trigger any memories; it just left Douglas despondent.

Nicki was surprised by Zoe's change of mood - suddenly she was all smiles! Assuming it was because of Rory, she and Amber plotted to get the pair together. After a couple of false starts, they got the two together in Zoe's flat. Surrounded by candles, rose petals and a bit of Barry White, they immediately realised what their sisters were up to and made it clear they're just friends. But there's a wee glimmer of something there that suggests they might not be...

Gerry was in a disorganised mess at work and his grumpiness knew no bounds. He sacked his temp and Heather kindly stepped in to help, despite her new boss's mood! Whiteside popped in to quiz Gerry about Archie - he really wants Gerry to give him some evidence to refute Douglas's amnesia claim. Gerry was pretty distracted though and even Scott got an earful. Heather wasn't put off though and determinedly set about sorting out Gerry's office... until she found his cocaine. She was furious!

She went to the Ship to meet him after work and fended off Whiteside's flirty advances. She let him buy her a drink but as soon as Gerry arrived she confronted him about the drugs and told him they are well and truly over. She stormed out and got into her car, only to be stopped by jobsworth Whiteside - she was about to drive after drinking! He was ultra smug as he called for back up and was disappointed when he found she was under the limit. Undeterred, he searched her bag and found Gerry's coke. Heather was promptly arrested as a gormless Gerry stood by and watched.
