Rory convinced Zoe she should go to the doctor and take a pregnancy test. Zoe agreed but Ruth's presence at the surgery freaked her out. It took a while but she eventually went to her appointment and told Rory the test was negative, promptly shutting him out.

Liam continued to struggle with the fact Eileen didn't want a proper relationship with him and orchestrated a chance for Raymond to catch the pair snogging. Raymond went mad at Eileen cos Liam's young enough to be her son! Liam's meddling caused him pain though - he overheard Eileen telling Raymond that their relationship is just a fling.

Shona had a go at Roisin for doing whatever Sonny told her to do - she used to be so strong! A phone call from an estate agent made Iona suspicious too and the pair convinced Roisin to stand on her own two feet. She had a go at Sonny for keeping all these secrets from her - he'd just have to give up whatever property he's just bought. He agreed but then she caught sight of his new house and shrieked! He's bought a castle in the Highlands and he's giving it to Roisin!

Malcolm refused all Douglas's offers of help around the house, which left Douglas feeling inadequate and then Malcolm put his back out when he tried to paint his door himself! While Malcolm was away sorting out his back, Douglas took over and finished the door. Then he painted Scarlett's fence as well! Now, Archie would never have done that! Gina and Liz were happy but a little confused by his new-found kindness but, as ever, Joanne was having none of it. Rory was intrigued by Douglas's condition and offered to show him round his old house, in the hope it would trigger his memory. Douglas wasn't sure but things became pear-shaped when he tried to put money INTO Liz's purse - she caught him, assumed he was stealing and all hell threatened to break loose... until she realised he was telling the truth. Douglas couldn't bear it any more and called Rory - he wants his memory back.
