Shona, Roisin and Sonny arrived back in Shieldinch and Sonny immediately began asking questions about the Tall Ship and, well, pretty much everything Scottish! Shona was being driven mad by his cheery American excitement for life. He decided to cheer her up by trying to set up a dinner between her and Raymond. However, his cunning was too much for both of them and they refused to be brought back together.

Amber did her best to wrap her dad round her little finger but he was determined to send her back to school. He and Lydia had decided it was definite. However, Amber did a real number on him, turning on the tears and telling him how awful life was at boarding school. It did the trick. When Lydia came in, angry at the tales she'd just heard from her daughter's school (Amber's been drinking, gambling and having way too many late nights), her anger intensified when she heard Lenny had made his decision - Amber's staying. Amber was super-smug and Lydia started finding a local school.

Jamie and Nicki were all over each other and when Jamie bought a packet of condoms it was obvious things were getting serious! However, they couldn't find anywhere to be alone - there was no getting Tina out the house and Zoe was planning a night in.

Carly became intrigued when she watched Lazy Rays for the day and spotted loads of men coming and going. Since when did all the middle-aged Shieldinch men become fascinated with fake tans? She put two and two together and told Deek her concerns. Deek's attempts to investigate were, frankly, pathetic so he came up with the bright idea of sending Bob in. A nervous Bob approached the salon and started wittering about going on holiday and needing a spray tan. He was ushered towards a tanning booth by the very flirty Angela and started questioning about extras. It all got too much for him and he tried to escape but by this time Raymond had decided it was time to go over and ask outright. He was horrified to see Bob there in his undies (they were tastefully patterned 'horny wee devil') and chucked him out into the street! They confronted Angela, who was raging but agreed to be out by the end of the day.

Word soon spread and Zoe had to pretend to be shocked by the brothel but she was obviously worried about where she stood. She headed to the pub with Carly, leaving Nicki a prime opportunity to get Jamie over. Marty was at the pub with Ruth, playing the perfect husband but he told Zoe he wanted to start a private arrangement. He was incredibly lecherous and told her he knew she'd enjoyed it. She mumbled he should call her and ran off home, pleading illness, but she walked in on Jamie and Nicki getting a bit steamy! She went MAD and chucked Jamie out. She reckons Nicki is way too young to have sex and as far as she's concerned the two of them are over - she's not letting her sister near Jamie again.
