While Ruth fretted about Liz, Marty decided to take his mind off his own worries... with sex! Ruth soon put a stop to that insensitivity so he moped off to work to be harassed by Lenny. Soon he turned his attention to the pub and got seriously distracted by a hot young woman! This sexy new arrival quickly flirted with him and even more quickly got seriously hammered.

Lydia had a barney with Lenny - how dare he let her start a business somewhere there's so much baggage about him?! She wants to be an honest businesswoman but Scarlett was spreading the word and encouraging everyone to boycott Hola. Kelly-Marie tried to convince her that Lydia is not Lenny but Scarlett continued her crusade and it badly hit Lydia's first day trading. Things took a turn for the worse when Lydia realised who Tina was... she was about to explain herself when Scarlett jumped in and broke the news. Tina was horrified. Lydia tried to apologise for being "a police informant's wife" and told her how much Lenny had thought of Eddie (oh, the poor misguided fool) but Tina was having none of it.

Lenny decided to improve his wife's day so paid Iona and Zoe to shop at the boutique. Those two have no morals. Then Lenny found another problem - that young lady slobbering all over Marty is Amber Murdoch, his 16 year old daughter! He dragged them apart and lambasted Raymond for serving her (she'd shown fake ID). Amber admitted she hates her boarding school and doesn't want to go back. Just as she was trying to explain that to her mum, she threw up in the shiny, new boutique. Urgh.

Ruth apologised to Marty for giving him the cold shoulder earlier and the pair were about to get frisky when Malcolm arrived, worried about Gina and Liz. Liz had survived but she was pretty shaken up. Ruth went round to see what she could do but was shocked by Gina's attitude - she had a real go at her mother-in-law and made noises about helping her attempt suicide again! When she started wailing about them both ending it, Liz snapped into action and apologised for letting her down - she'll always be there for her.

Marty was, by this time, fed up and looking for some attention. Iona turned down his unwise advances so he made a mysterious phone call and went to a fancy hotel, where he found Zoe at the bar. They made awkward small talk (she was waiting on a "date", he was waiting on a "client") until she decided to make a call to find out where her date was, and Marty's phone rang! Cue: another awkward conversation. Zoe got ready to leave but Marty pointed out they both have secrets to keep so what do they have to lose? So, they headed up to the hotel room together...
