Billy woke with a blinding hangover. Shirley wasn't much better but at least she didn't have that "oh my god, what have I done?" panic that Mr Davies had. He bumped into Sophie and persuaded her to tell Shirley he'd be off sick, whilst he avoided all her calls. That didn't go down well at all. Shirley stomped round to his and told him to stop being ridiculous. He was worried about the night before and she wound him up when she demanded to know why his actions were only because he was drunk. He insisted he didn't want to lose her as a friend and she accepted his remorse. Best friends forever and ever.

Liam had plans for Hallowe'en at The Grill but Eileen wasn't at all interested in hearing tales about the dead coming back and walking the earth. Liam managed to persuade Raymond to give it a go and set about doing some major promotion. All dressed up as Dracula, he and pink witch Charlie and evil Carly started putting the word out about a special fancy dress night and he managed to pull in the punters! Raymond was very impressed and even dressed up as Elvis for the occasion :)

Heather was raging when she found Gerry's cocaine kit hidden underneath the sofa. It explains his late nights but what happened to honesty? She confronted him and he insisted it wasn't a problem, despite all her chat about what it can do to people. He was convinced he won't be affected but she made it crystal clear his drug habit won't be welcome in her bar or her home.

Liz went all Lady Macbeth again, scrubbing the floor clean again and again. Eileen's words had hit home - Liz murdered her own child. Gina tried to remind her that she'd done it to save *her* but Liz wouldn't be pacified and went all hysterical again. Gina was reluctant to leave her on her own but wanted to see Eileen and Liz refused to be patronised. Gina should've trusted her instincts... Liz was freaked out by the ghouls and spectres outside, and creaks in the house, and it all got too much.

When Gina came home she found Liz missing and started to panic. She and Eileen started trying to find her but they would never guess where she'd gone. Meanwhile, DCI Whiteside got a big surprise when Lady Liz turned up at the station and told him to arrest her cos she's murdered her own son. Uh oh.
