Niamh told Yvonne what had happened with Gina and admitted she's so sorry for what she's done to Liz. She just can't figure out how Liz and Gina found out though, and if they did know all along then Archie would have had no reason to leave his lover behind. Something doesn't make sense and she's determined to figure it out, despite Yvonne's advice to let it drop. Yvonne did, however, lay a little pressure on an already nervy Eileen to try to get Gina to stop winding Niamh up. Eileen headed round to Gina's and had a go at her for telling Niamh she knew about the affair.
Liz was going mad for nostalgia and Gina couldn't see she'd done anything wrong but Eileen was terrified that they'd let something slip and be caught. There's no way they're taking her down with them. She told them a few home truths about Archie - he couldn't keep it in his pants and wasn't such an angel! There was a very impressive slanging match between her and Liz - Liz compared Eileen to a tart and Eileen reminded Liz she killed her son. Very nice. After a slap and some more hysteria, Eileen headed off but warned them she's not going to jail so they'd better sort themselves out.
Charlie was excited to be going for her first look at wedding dresses but was panicking at how much she had to do, and those Jordan-esque wedding dresses don't come cheap! Jimmy, meanwhile, was in great spirits after putting a wee flutter on a horse and winning. Now that he's stuck in the house, the bookies are on speed-dial and he's sure he can make enough to pay the rent. He swore Bob to secrecy and Scarlett seemed a little suspicious.
Fi said her final goodbyes to Gerry and Shirley, as she headed off to the sunny shores of Millport to clear her head. Shirley was a bit sad at her going - she'll soon be Shirley-no-mates - but Billy promised to be there for her. However, he had a date with Sophie to occupy him for the night! He had a wee crisis of confidence about the age difference and endured some teasing from Shirley about it but he seemed keen on the date anyway. Somewhere along the line though he realised it just wasn't right and opted for a drink with Shirley instead.
Zoe started to hunt for a new job but she was becoming more and more fed up - how can she go to Uni and hold down a job that pays enough to cover the bills? Nicki insisted she could help, by using some of her inheritance from George. Zoe told her not to but Nicki headed to the bank anyway. Unfortunately, a couple of neds watched her take out the cash and mugged her on the way home, leaving her upset and minus a whole wad of cash. Zoe was gutted and decided to take drastic action to look after her number one priority - her wee sister. So she quit Uni.
Angela was shocked to hear her news and told her to reconsider her offer of work but Zoe was determined not to get involved in that kind of thing. After Angela gave her a cheque to cover her debts, Zoe started to think again and, after two folk telling her "it's not what you do that defines you" she agreed to work as an escort, but she laid down the law - she's not going to sleep with the blokes. Angela, however, isn't so sure her new prodigy will stay innocent for long...
