Niamh was soaking up every snippet of information about Archie she could and was surprised to hear the police were being a bit rough on Gina. Unfortunately for her, she found herself a bit closer to the information when the police discovered her number was Archie's most frequently called on his mobile. So DCI Whiteside set his own inimitable charm on her and questioned her involvement - given that she was there when he arrested Archie, she couldn't feign complete innocence. At first she pretended he'd helped her get a job when she got out of prison but eventually she caved and admitted they'd been having an affair. Whiteside wondered if they'd been planning a midnight flit but she assured him it was just sex. Meanwhile, her own suspicions were aroused when Gina had a go at her in public for asking about her husband - something just doesn't add up.

Fi, too, was struggling in the aftermath of Archie's disappearance - could her actions really have caused Archie to commit suicide? That's all a bit too close to home for her. Shirley tried to make her feel better, especially when Gina refused to talk to her, but Fi found an opportunity to speak to Liz. That made matters worse though. As far as Liz is concerned, EVERYTHING is Fi's fault! She has Archie's blood on her hands. The whole business led recovering alcoholic Fi towards a glass of wine but, happily, she stopped short of drinking it!

Sophie wanted a pampering session and the only way she could do that with Zoe was if she paid for the two of them. So she did. Zoe felt a bit awkward but it was a pampering session so she could hardly say no! At Lazy Rays, however, Lena and Angela were getting worried about some bloke who wanted money from them. After Angela saw Zoe again, she thought she might have a solution and asked the skint student nurse if she'd like a job in her 'other business'. Zoe was horrified by the idea of being an escort girl, no matter how much money she could make! Angela left her number but Zoe ripped it up.

Tina was disappointed when Billy made it clear he didn't want them to get back together, and was more despondent when she spotted him flirting with a sexy, young blonde in the pub later on. He'd been talked into having a boys' night out and was making the most of it... but he refused Gerry's offer of coke.

Scarlett made big plans for a romantic night in with Jimmy. The kids were told to make themselves scarce, she made dinner and got a slushy movie. All was set for a lovely evening.,. except Jimmy had one wee problem and he was worried sick about the whole thing. He admitted something terribly personal to Raymond - he's not quite 'up to the job'. In fact, nothing works from the waist down so as far as he's concerned, he's not going to be much use to Scarlett. He couldn't bring himself to tell her though so by the end of the night when she was smoochin' and making a move on him, he found himself in a very awkward position. She couldn't understand why he was angrily pushing her away but was shocked when he revealed the truth - he's impotent.
