JamieCharlie and BobJimmy

Tina had arranged for the boys to stay the night with a friend, but she was horrified to realise she'd forgotten Jamie's exam results were out. He hadn't done very well and Paul stirred trouble whilst she did her best to be supportive. Ruth cottoned on to the fact Tina is almost in fear of Paul's reaction to her and Billy, and told her to stop tiptoeing round her son. So she did and, after a lovely night out, she took Billy home to her empty flat… Gerry got really excited about the new business and cockily assured Fi they'd have no problem getting work. As if on cue, Roisin turned up and asked him to consider Shona's case. She'll pay in cash. She then went to see Shona and made her sign a mandate agreeing to change lawyers. Roisin's going to do all she can to get her sister out of jail.

Lenny worried Deek when he hung around Deekafe, scrounging free coffee and talking about insurance rackets. Scarlett got a very big surprise when Charlie appeared in her kitchen, having spent the night with Bob, and she was delighted to hear they're getting married! Both were really nervous though at the prospect of telling Jean. Bob was so busy at work and worrying about Jean that when Jimmy came round looking for a service on his cab, he just didn't have time. It looked like Jimmy was close to confiding in Bob when Charlie appeared, ready to meet her mum. So they headed off and prepared themselves - Jean didn't take the news well but she didn't flare up. It was clear though that she could see chats about hen nights and dresses with Scarlett far enough.

Meanwhile, Terri and Scarlett wound each other up about Jimmy, and Terri brought on the tears when she told Jimmy later how horrible Scarlett had treated her. Gina made Scarlett see that she'll need to do something - after all, it's obvious what Jimmy thinks of her! But it could be too late - Jimmy came round and yelled at Scarlett for her behaviour and told her to stop playing games, and stop ruining his chances with someone else. He stormed out and, angrily, jumped in his cab. As Scarlett got ready to go after him with the wean, he raced off and nearly hit a woman with a pushchair - it looked like his brakes failed. Just as he was making sure everyone was okay, a car full of teenage neds came racing round the corner and smashed into him, leaving him lying unconscious…
