Bob couldn't get near Charlie cos her mum was always there, interfering, and she announced Charlie's heading off to Chicago. He was all set to give up but Deek made him see sense and fight for her. He had to be forced into it though! He tried his best to see her but Jean just kept getting in the way and kept on at him that he wasn't good enough. Bob ended up yelling at her and, flustered, Charlie drove off. Paul continued to be stroppy while Jamie told him Tina and Billy were just friends. As they cosied up in the pub, trying to grab any stolen moments together, Paul caught sight of Ruth in the street, therefore seeing through Tina's alibi. He snuck into the pub to see his mum canoodling with Billy so he stormed out, no doubt storing trouble for the future.

Alanna and Iona went to visit Shona in prison and were horrified to hear she might be there another two months. She was dreading the thought of seeing her husbands again in court and said she wished she was dead. Alanna and Iona tried to do their best but she didn't want any help. Alanna told Raymond what was going on and begged him to do something but Shona's made it clear she wants nothing to do with him. So Alanna called Roisin and told her she needs to get back asap. Whiteside and Lenny had a 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' conversation then Lenny moved on to Marty. He made a jokey threat about what would happen to Marty if he didn't make money out of Montego Heights… but we know he wasn't joking.

Gina tried to apologise to Archie and he patronised her yet again. Liz assured her he'd come round and that he loves her. Gina decided to go all out to show her how much she cares so she planned a romantic dinner and a nice night in for two. Little did she know that he'd just spent a few hours with Niamh and had led her to believe he's leaving Gina for her. So, he went straight from Niamh home and didn't get a chance even to shower before a glam Gina started her seduction. She headed off to bed and, despite his initial hesitance (we reckon it was more to do with tiredness than guilt), he smugly followed her.
