Nicki was in a huff with Zoe for her argument with Shirley but Deek took it upon himself to make peace. He spoke to Shirley and told her she owes it to Nicki, to herself, and to George, to be strong and happy. He seemed to get through cos she went to apologise to Zoe (who only backed down after Nicki reminded her how good Shirley has been to them) and then had a lovely chat with Nicki. She decided Nicki should stay with Zoe until she gets herself sorted out but then she'll be dragging her back. Awww. Jake came back from holiday and invited Scott out for a drink. Just as friends.
Bob was desperately trying to get hold of Charlie but she didn't want to know. Scarlett was scunnered and Jean was interfering. He finally managed to apologise to her but she didn't believe him. She didn't believe he ever loved her but he reckoned he was nervous because of what happened with Michelle. Anyway, it ended badly cos Charlie walked away (flanked by her mum), leaving Bob alone. Scarlett wasn't happy cos Jimmy and Madonna were spending the day with Terri, who as usual sniped at Scarlett. Paul continued his narky behaviour, deliberately spoiling Tina's day and any hope she had of seeing Billy. Jamie tried to pluck up the courage to ask Nicki out, helped by Scott but he's not brave enough yet.
Yvonne tried to figure out what was going on in Niamh's head and she's horrified to think she might actually still fancy Archie. Niamh denied it, of course, but there was a wee glint in her eye Gina, however, has less time for him. She told him she's no longer going to be supportive and doesn't care any more. He argued back and told her he couldn't take much more Even Liz is on Gina's side. Meanwhile, he had another fistfight with Gerry, and Niamh told him she'd had enough and was thinking of leaving Glasgow. She booked a flight to anywhere for the next day but was shocked to find Archie on her doorstep. He wants her! Well, she told him where to go but, being the fickle thing she is, she ended up in his arms, snogging. Tut tut.
