BobShirley and FiGerry and Archie

Charlie's wedding excitement got way too much for Bob but he still couldn't bring himself to tell her it was all a big misunderstanding. Charlie was determined to tell everyone but Bob persuaded her to keep it quiet for now. He put her off telling her mum for now and ended up having a 'quiet night in' with Charlie and her wedding magazine. His hesitancy made her decide he wanted a far more low key wedding but it all hit the fan when Scarlett discovered the megazine hidden under a sofa cushion. She practically hyperventilated when questioning the two… and Charlie quickly caved and squealed it was hers. Scarlett was over the moon whilst poor Bob and Jimmy were bemused.

Shirley was incredibly nervy and struggling to get over Robert. She had a very Lady Macbeth moment, scrubbing her hands clean, and angrily told Fi that Robert had removed all traces of George and she felt awful. Nicki was trying to look out for her but there wasn't a lot she could do. Meanwhile, Zoe was teasing Nicki about fancying Jamie and Scott was encouraging Jamie to go for it! Paul was being his usual troublesome self, while Tina tried to enjoy a spontaneous drink in the pub with Billy, Dr Lao and Ruth. Billy was extremely flirtatious but agreed to take it a day at a time. However they ended up snogging in the street and were spotted by Paul.

Archie moped around, feeling sorry for himself and got really snappy when Gina offered him some cash to tide him over. So he headed to the pub to drown his sorrows but got so tipsy Scott chucked him out. He took his custom to Versus but didn't fare much better there. He was hammered and as soon as Gerry saw him he started baiting him about how Archie had handed him a business on a plate, and how pleased he was he hadn't learned anything from his former boss. He was spoiling for a fight and got one. Archie punched him, which didn't dampen Gerry's efforts, but ended up drunkenly falling on the floor. Niamh, who had insisted to Yvonne that she was over Archie, took pity on him and drove him home. Archie told her he shouldn't have let her go, flirted with her and kissed her… just as Gina came downstairs to see what was going on. She was sooo close to catching them but instead thanked a stunned Niamh for bringing him home.
