Raymond and DeekShonaTina and Paul

We're happy to report that Shirley and Nicki are both fine after their ordeal with Robert and everyone fussed around them. Both were really shaken up though and Nicki didn't want to leave Shirley alone. She did however drop 'I told you so' hints and Shirley apologised for not listening to her before. Shirley was eaten up with guilt for putting Nicki in danger, and felt dirty for leading Robert on, even if it was to save their skins. Fi assured her she'd done the right thing but no matter how brave a face she put on for Nicki, Shirley looked distraught. Charlie fretted about Bob distancing himself from her but was cheered by Scarlett and Carly's suggestion he may be going to "do the right thing". Bob, however, confided in Jimmy that he just isn't comfortable using that bloody money to buy their flat.

Iona visited Shona in prison but was upset that her sister is full of guilt and wants everyone to forget about her. She wrote a letter for Raymond which tore him apart - she loved him (past tense) and wants him to forget her. Eileen comforted him as he cried his eyes out. Archie tried to get Gina back on side but the whole situation was getting to her and she wouldn't be placated by his niceties. She took her anger out on Fi, who she blames for causing it all. Liz made it clear she knew Archie wasn't as innocent as he was making out and told him to do some work on his case. He promptly saw his lawyer, who stressed all he can do is damage limitation. Niamh, meanwhile, apologised to him for things getting out of hand but he didn't want to know.

The ever-sensitive Paul was jealous of his mother's concern for Billy, who'd just had to have twelve stiches after Robert's attack! He fought with Jamie about it - how can his mum go out with someone so soon after his dad died?! But Tina's made her decision and she planned a dinner date with Billy. She admitted to Ruth that she really likes him. Paul pretended to be ill to get in the way but it wasn't enough and his mum had a lovely night in with Billy. Just as things were hotting up and they kissed, Paul escaped a slanging match with Scott to interrupt the lovebirds. He said some awful things, accused Tina of being a slapper and then slapped her on the face!!
