Much to Robert’s annoyance, Shirley arranged a girlie catch-up with Nicki in the Grill. He hung around the pub though and they had to have a drink with him whilst they waited on a table. He tried his best to worm his way into their girlie dinner but luckily didn’t manage it! Nicki and Shirley had a lovely time, cementing their bond and reminiscing about George. They’re family, no matter what.

Gina was annoyed that Fi had caused so much bother and was still convinced of her husband’s innocence. Ruth and Scarlett didn’t look so sure and Liz realised Archie’s not going to be able to talk his way out of this one. She suggested to Gina that she needs to do what’s best for her but Gina’s standing by her man. Both of them were absolutely devastated by the whole situation. Scarlett gave Bob and Charlie a pair of horrible 70s curtains for their new flat but Bob doesn’t look at all convinced by their new home-owning plans. Meanwhile, Charlie fretted cos Liz decided she’d have to let her go and do her own cleaning from now on.

Iona tried to convince Raymond not to go to the police but she’s not the best person to ask Raymond to do anything! Then Tony turned up like a bad penny and told Shona the news of her miscarriage had really knocked him – if he’d known then things would’ve been different. He loves her! He wants to be with her! Well, tough, cos Shona doesn’t want anything to do with him. She rushed off and told Raymond how sorry she is but he’d cast his wedding ring aside and couldn’t trust her any more. Just as it looked like he might be won over by Shona’s pleas, Harry appeared and arrested Shona for bigamy! The Shieldinch polis are awfully busy at the moment…
