Archie pretended he wasn’t feeling well to cover the fact he’s completely shaken up by Fi’s discovery. Gina was suspicious but Fi didn’t divulge Archie’s secret. Instead, she decided to get to the bottom of it and had lunch with Niamh. Niamh was not impressed to hear Archie was blaming her for it all but insisted they loved each other. She cracked when Fi made her admit he hadn’t visited her at all in prison, and admitted that it was Archie’s idea to start the fire she was put away for. Scott felt bad that he’d kissed Jake and rejected his further advances. Poor Jake looked really upset. Tina had a go at Scott for snogging Jake, and Scott said some unnecessary things about her relationship with Eddie, which earned him a big slap. Happily, they made up again – they’re family now and they’ll always be friends.

Lenny turned up at Med Dreams, looking for “the bloke with the greasy hair” and was very patronising when he left a business card with Niamh, with a message for Marty to call him urgently. Jimmy suggested to Scarlett she could put Madonna in a nursery, but Terri’s jibes were still ringing in her ears so she wasn’t up for the idea. They had a nice lunch together but walked out when he admitted he’d been staying the night with Terri. Scarlett had been insisting she just didn’t think Terri was good enough for Jimmy but finally the penny dropped… she admitted to Gina that she loves him.

Raymond was devastated by Tony’s big announcement and Shona’s betrayal, and Shona wasn’t holding up too well either. Tony continued to hang around like a bad smell, winding Raymond up and flirting horribly with Eileen. He tried to persuade Shona to take him back but she really does love Raymond. Iona was horrified to find out Shona hadn’t actually divorced her other two husbands either, but stuck by her when Tony sniffed about. He got a helluva shock when Shona told him she knew about his affair with Iona (which he immediately insisted meant nothing) and then even more of a shock when she told him she’d lost their baby as a result. He didn’t know and tried to comfort her but she’s had enough – she threw him out of her life.
