Raymond pulled out all the stops to plan a spicy evening for Shona but Iona ‘forgot’ to pass on the message and he was nearly stood up. Shona was raging when she found out what she’d done but soon cheered up when Raymond swept her off her feet in a dashing tango! Lena and Angela were delighted to be in Lazy Ray’s but while Angela wanted to celebrate, Lena had other things on her mind – like the fact she’s got nowhere to live.

Harry had a tough day. He listened to Tina’s pleas to find Eddie’s killer and promised her he’d do all he can. Then he had to try to convince Paul his dad didn’t die because he’s gay. Then he had a confrontation with Whiteside! He was looking for a file on Whiteside’s desk and was spotted. Whiteside decided that enough was enough and threw him off the case, but not before letting him know that Eddie was seeing someone other than Scott and that ‘wee bandit’ has become a suspect. Harry told Scott he felt something was going on and why aren’t they putting all their manpower into solving this?! He took matters into his own hands and went and stole a file from Whiteside’s desk!.

Malcolm arranged for a new bench to be set up by the fountain, with a plaque commemorating George. He’s determined to keep it a secret from Shirley but he told Robert what was going on. Robert got chatting to the bench man from the council and passed on the wrong time of arrival to Malcolm. Weird. Nicki was in a mood with Shirley cos she’d accused her of being a thief, which we reckon is fair enough. Shirley couldn’t even say that she believed Nicki but admitted to Billy that she’s worried about her. Nicki confided in Malcolm who tried to persuade her that Robert must surely be innocent but then he caught sight of Robert having a ‘quiet’ word with Nicki. He was threatening her again! Does this mean Malcolm finally sees what’s going on?
