Shirley discovered a broken clasp on a necklace George had given her but before she could get it to a jeweller, it went missing. Nice Nicki was suspicious when Shirley mentioned Robert had visited but he quickly pointed the finger at Nicki. Shirley fell for it! She even checked Nicki's jacket! Of course, it was Robert that took it all along so we're looking forward to the fallout from that. Raymond's divorce came through which made Shona feel heaps better about their relationship. He had a big celebratory weekend planned but she decided she couldn't leave Iona to cope on her own. Ruth admitted to Scott she didn't really want to see a new psychiatrist while he struggled to get time with Tina alone. Paul seemed to be glued to her side and got stroppy when Billy gave her a friendly hug.
Terri started work with Charlie but Charlie's approach to cleaning is not hers! She was sarcastic - a tone which mostly went over her new boss's head - but got really smug when she found out her connection to Scarlett! Liz wasn't too happy to hear Gina offering Charlie some cleaning work but agreed to give her a chance. Scarlett was pretty down and couldn't bear to let Madonna out of her sight. But Gina suspected she was also missing Jimmy when he took his wee girl out for a walk. Scarlett protested but she did get a bit soppy on the phone to him and invited him round for some wine and takeaway .
Whiteside continued to crow over Harry and went to the extent of shredding a file he'd been looking for, determined to put obstacles in his path and make trouble. Harry tried to question Elaine about the Docks siege but she was way too frightened to talk. Niamh and Fi's battle continued, each woman determined to stand her ground, throwing threats about, while Archie fretted about his secrets coming out. Niamh won the battle this time though - she made Fi cry when she revealed she knew Fi's daughter had killed herself. Fi's no match for that amount of evil.
