Jimmy told Marty that Ruth had saved Madonna's life and he's eternally grateful. He left flowers for her, and passed on his apologies. He told Scarlett that he never meant for the lawyers to intervene and he had just wanted to see Madonna. Scarlett and Jimmy made a pact that no matter what is going on between them, it will not affect Madonna, and they will both be there for her. Ruth made Gina admit she had been concerned Ruth had taken the baby, but Ruth took it well and agreed she'd seek help. They had a tearful lovey chat.

It was the day of Eddie's funeral and everyone was on edge, particularly as the paparazzi were camped outside. Scott admitted to Tina that he felt left out and his place as Eddie's boyfriend wasn't recognised. Tina assured him that Eddie felt more for Scott than anybody else, that she was happy Eddie had found somebody to love, and gave him the engagement ring. Scott was shocked but happy! When Paul spotted the ring and Scott admitted it was an engagement ring, Paul amazingly approved! Scott played the father role perfectly and they all headed to the funeral together.

Meanwhile Versus was being searched by the police, investigating an illegal business. They found no evidence but Heather was shocked and found out from Iona that Suzie had been running an escort agency there. She was disgusted and went to look for Suzie but instead finds Johnny collapsed on the floor of Wok My World. She took him to the doctor and he finally agreed that they should call the police - Suzie's disappeared. Fi was anxiously waiting for some news on Niamh and was enraged when Archie told her he had nothing. Niamh returned from her Aviemore expedition, looking all smug with herself, and cryptically told Fi that she is on to her. Fi went mad and was visibly shaken by the whole experience.
