Things were getting more and more awkward between Liam and Alanna, as he couldn't understand where she was coming from. But she eventually sat him down and told him about being abused by her father. He was great and told her he wanted to be with her, no matter how. Kelly Marie was in a foul mood and admitted to Bob that Michael loves her. Jimmy had to find out from Michael what was going on and warned him not to try to see Kelly just now - he hadn't heard a thing from her since their drunken night out and he was frantic. She didn't know what to do but realised she didn't have to face him if he went away so told Jimmy & Scarlett she plans to go travelling and meet up with Hazel. Scarlett did not take the news well!

Iona was fretting, desperate to see Marty and find out what was going on but Roisin told her in no uncertain terms that she has no right to know. As Roisin went off to book herself on a fancy world cruise, Iona went off to find Marty. Scott tried his best to stop her, telling her what she'd done to Ruth, but she went anyway. It wasn't good news though - Marty told her he regretted his time with her and he only wants Ruth. Iona was devastated.

Shirley had last minute doubts on her wedding day - she just can't face losing him - but Della helped comfort her and she turned up to exchange emotional, heartfelt vows with George. The wedding party was happier than the family expected but watching Robert and Alice together was too much for him - he angrily told Robert that Alice is not his daughter… she's Robert's.
